Founded in 1979, Action Against Hunger is an international non-governmental organization that fights hunger worldwide. Its charter of humanitarian principles—independence, neutrality, non-discrimination, free and direct access to victims, professionalism, and transparency—has defined its identity for 45 years. Its mission is to save lives by eliminating hunger through the prevention, detection, and treatment of undernutrition, particularly during and after emergencies related to conflicts and natural disasters. Mission :
We are looking for an apprentice capable of providing support to the training department through the following missions:
Managing the organization of field and headquarters training as well as contributing to the development of learning systems, in person or remotely, for the benefit of ACF teams.
Organize in-person and remote training
(Integration seminars, Specializations and professional training)
– Manage the organization of onboarding seminars and internal training sessions: invite participants, confirm registrations, and handle logistical communications.
– Reserve training rooms.
– Prepare training materials and facilitation equipment.
– Ensure the administrative follow-up of training sessions: prepare and archive attendance sheets, and enter tracking data into the systems.
– Implement training evaluations: create questionnaires, write reports, monitor indicators, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
– Manage the creation and sending of training certificates.
– Participate occasionally in facilitating the onboarding seminar.
– Support trainers and participants in using training tools (virtual classrooms and facilitation tools).
– Assist the Training Engineering Coordinator in deploying the Onboarding Seminar in country offices.
Communicate, update and share the annual training schedule in conjunction with the coordinators.
– Provide support, as needed, to the organization of PDC training in collaboration with the Learning and Skills Development Officer.
Participate in the creation and improvement of educational tools
– Assist the Training Engineering Coordinator in the design and implementation of new learning and skills development projects.
– Contribute to the creation, updating, and improvement of in-person and online training materials (training sessions, workshops, e-learning, virtual classrooms).
– Participate in enriching facilitation methods and techniques.
– Create tutorials and support materials for internal facilitators.
– Assist the Coordinator in facilitating and managing ACF’s Learning and Development Bodies.
Profile :
We are looking for a candidate who shares our commitment and possesses the following qualities:
Currently enrolled in a program related to pedagogy (instructional design, educational sciences, learning resource design).
Technical skills:
Design and implement educational programs (engineering, creativity, knowledge of models).
Master office and collaborative tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook).
Organize training sessions and workshops (planning, anticipation, coordination).
Use graphic design tools (e.g., Canva).
Use authoring software (Storyline, Rise, Genially).
Use HR software (consultation, data entry, and queries).
Cross-cutting skills:
Being a good listener, adapting communication, and building trust.
Demonstrating autonomy and initiative.
Being responsive and capable of managing multiple tasks.
Working with rigor and a strong sense of organization.
Mastering professional English, both written and spoken.
Knowing how to organize work and manage priorities.
Employment conditions
Apprenticeship contract.
Contract duration: 12 months.
Desired work schedule: 3 days / 2 days or 3 weeks / 1 week.
Location: Montreuil (Seine-Saint-Denis)
Salary Conditions:
Remuneration based on the legal minimum wage, adjusted according to age and level of education, paid over 13 months.
21 days of RTT (reduced working time) (prorated according to attendance).
25 days of paid leave (prorated according to attendance).
Health and welfare coverage: 80% covered by ACF.
Transportation: 50% of the cost between home and work. Meal
vouchers: 60% covered by the association (value of €8).
€175/year (social activities) and discount on cinema tickets.
