Wie zijn wij
War Child Nederland bestaat uit ruim 50 gedreven professionals die verantwoordelijk zijn voor een groot deel van de inkomsten van War Child Global, alle fondsenwervende activiteiten in Nederland en voor de positionering en reputatie van de organisatie. Je maakt onderdeel uit van het gedreven, enthousiaste team Fondsenwerving.
Jij bent
Enthousiast over het werk van War Child en wilt graag een bijdrage leveren aan het verbeteren van het toekomstperspectief van vele kinderen wereldwijd. Je weet van aanpakken en je beschikt over uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden. Je weet mensen aan je te binden zowel in woord als geschrift. Je bent een sociale teamplayer die ook zelfstandig te werk kan gaan, zonder het overzicht te verliezen. Op een empathische manier weet jij uiteenlopende fondsenwervende acties te organiseren en te begeleiden. Bovendien maak jij met je creativiteit relaties nóg enthousiaster om met ons samen te werken! Jouw verantwoordelijkheden
- (Pro)actief contact houden met, het adviseren en informeren van de organisatoren van acties en events (schriftelijk, mondeling of persoonlijk)
- Het aansturen, inspireren en faciliteren van de fondsenwervende vrijwilligers;
- Het aansturen en begeleiden van stagiaires
- Signaleren van fondsenwervende kansen die voor War Child extra interessant kunnen zijn en hier proactief op inspelen door ideeën aan te dragen
- Proactief bestaande actieconcepten in de markt zetten en promoten
- Bijwonen van acties en events om War Child te vertegenwoordigen of activiteiten te coördineren
- Zorg dragen voor de administratieve verwerking van informatie in ons CMS-systeem.
Jouw Profiel
- Je bent energiek en positief ingesteld
- Communicatief sterk (zowel telefonisch als face-to-face) en het talent om mensen te inspireren en overtuigen
- Je vindt het leuk om voor uiteenlopende groepen te staan
- Een echte teamplayer
- Ondernemend en daadkrachtig
- Nauwkeurig en gewend om met CRM-systemen te werken
- Flexibel en in staat om overzicht te houden wanneer je met verschillende zaken bezig bent
- Goede beheersing van zowel de Nederlandse als Engelse taal
- Affinity with the story, values and mission of War Child
- Available 32-40 hours per week
What we offer
- Salary ranges from €3583 to €4455 gross per month, based on 40 hours per week (the exact amount is determined by the years of your relevant work experience)
- 8% holiday allowance based on annual salary
- An employment contract for 32-40 hours
- 29 vacation days per year on a full-time basis (including 3 predetermined days off)
- A pension scheme fully paid for by War Child Netherlands
- Net compensation for home working and travel costs according to our hybrid work policy
- Monthly mobile phone allowance of €25 net per month

Our organization
War Child Netherlands is a dynamic organization with an informal atmosphere and plenty of room for creativity and personal initiative. The image that War Child Netherlands conveys externally is a blueprint of the work at the head office: it is dynamic, innovative, honest and focused on achieving results at low costs. War Child Netherlands spends as much budget as possible on helping children in war and therefore does everything it can to keep costs as low as possible. Our employment conditions are at the level of the Dutch NGO sector. The office is located in the Watergraafsmeer district of Amsterdam. We currently work in a hybrid form, with the combination of home and office.
